Little Introduction On XMPP

XMPP, full form is Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol a revolution of web application development. XMPP is an open-standard communications protocol for message-oriented middleware made by using XML the web page creator for website. Jabber was the true name of XMPP and developed by Jabber open-source community in 1999.

Unlike most instant messaging protocols, XMPP uses an open systems loom of application and development, by which anyone may execute an Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol service and interoperate with implementations of other organization. In 2002, The IETF created an XMPP working group to sanctify the hub protocols as an IETF instant messaging and occurrence technology. In 2004, The Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol working group shaped four stipulations which were acknowledged by the Internet Engineering Steering Group. RFC 3920, RFC 3921, RFC 3922, RFC 3923 these are the four specifications of XMPP. Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol -based software is deployed extensively across the Internet world.
